Hi, I’m Helen, the heart behind Heavenly Creations by Helen.
This journey didn’t start as a business… it started as healing. In May of 2023, I lost my mama after walking beside her through her battle with dementia. Anyone who has loved someone through that understands — you don’t just lose them once… you lose pieces of them along the way. And when she finally passed, it felt like I lost a piece of myself too. In those quiet, heavy days that followed, I needed something to hold onto… something to help me feel close to her again. So I started creating. What began as a simple way to cope slowly turned into something that brought light back into my life. With every sign I painted, every bow I tied, I felt a little bit of peace return — like I was putting my heart back together one piece at a time. My mama always believed that cardinals were signs from heaven — little reminders that our loved ones are still with us. Since she passed, I’ve seen them more times than I can count… always showing up right when I need them most. That’s why the cardinal is part of my logo and forever part of my story. And while this shop carries my heart… I couldn’t do it alone. My husband, Randall, is truly the muscle behind the magic. He hand-cuts each wooden round with care and precision — laying the foundation for every piece before I ever begin designing. What I create with my heart, he supports with his hands… and together, we make something truly special. Every sign we create is: • Handcrafted from real wood — never MDF • Carefully designed, painted, and sealed • Finished on the back and ready to hang • Made with intention, care, and love But more than anything… it’s made with meaning. As a wife, a mama, and a proud Nana, family is everything to me. This business is a reflection of that love — a way to honor my mama, build something meaningful with my husband, and share a little warmth with every home our pieces go into.
